I've decided that a couple of the things that make me happiest in life are working out and eating...so, I am bagging the no-sugar-except-two-days-a-week thing. I have been working out five days a week, so I figure as long as I'm not eating two or three candy bars a day, I'm okay, right? Whatever I have to do to make myself feel better. I know. But, seriously. No more free days. Just everyday I'll do my best to eat healthy and stay away from too many sweets. The key is not having them in the house! ;)

Let me know how this goes for you. I am trying to decide how to find moderation in my eating. This sounds like it might be the answer.
Your comments make me laugh because I am constantly changing my personal "rules" as far as my eating goes. But overall, when I am working out consistently, I naturally eat better. So as long as I keep up exercising, the eating seems to fall into place. For sure it's not a health-nut diet, but it's a moderation thing. And it's funny that eating perfectly is so hard, but exercising every day is not hard at all for me. So I'm right with you on your comments :)
This is kinda my approach with treats. I will never give up treats, but just try to be aware how much I am eating. Good for you working out 5 days a week. I still have a few more weeks to go before I get the green light to start working out again. :)
I like your idea.. Treats/sweets is not worth giving up!! You are good to work-out that much..I try, but I don't always succeed with the crazy schedule, but I need to get back into a routine since my surgery! I totally think taking away sweets is like a prison sentence!Plus you look great anyways!
Amy I think you look great! Seems like I'm always making new rules too. Sometimes it helps and sometimes I think it makes it worse.
I have a love/hate relationship with treats. I love to eat them but hate that I have so little self control around them.
Now off for a little kids-are-in-bed reward. :)
